Hello everybody!
It's Oscar time again and at least here you might have actually heard of the movies (I'll be here all week folks!). Here we say goodbye to the eighties and select the best (and the worst) of the decade. I have had a great time with these movies. They certainly made my recovery time less hellish. Great list. Thumbs up on Dustin Hoffman and Glen Close.
ReplyDeleteI miss some movies on your list, but as I have not done the eighties yet I have not really made up my mind. However I am pretty sure that Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and Gremlins (the first, not the second one) would be on my top ten.
Which ones haven't you seen yet? I had to add Indiana Jones after you said that.
DeleteI was thinking "missed" in the sense that there are movies I would add to your list, but now that you mention it there are a few movies here I have not watched.
DeleteI am crushed that my beloved Terminator didn't make it on to the movie list! However, the line that is one of my faves from The Terminator did: "Come with me if you want to live", so I feel better. I loved The Princess Bride--not sure if I agree if it was the best, but...it WAS really wonderful. :)
