Mmm OK, sort of remember it..<br />One of that bunch of films made in the wake of Easy Rider, when, to the established studio suits, something weird and alternative became a hit, and the old style, bloated, big budget films started making shocking losses. So, in typical big business cynicism, they went 'hey, if those scruffy pinko hippies can make something that makes cash, we want in on that'... So we got a glut of 'studio made independent' films that tried SO hard to be cult, they obviously didn't hit it. <br />I'm ploughing through a book on this at the moment .. 'Easy riders & raging bulls', by .. I forget who. Don't bother, it's a rather sordid rambling tale of excess sex, sexism, drugs and bratty immature behaviour. <br />And once again I've wandered off into a mildly connected ramble that doesn't actually address the actual film.<br />Well, I have such hazy recollection, I have nothing valid to add...Rayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08194296330704790036noreply@blogger.com
